Temper Disorder – A New Label for Children

My article on “Temper Dysregulation Disorder with Dysphoria:  A New Label for Child Bipolar Disorder” was published last night.

They found out that Child Bipolar Disorder has many symptoms that do not compare to Adult Bipolar Disorder.  So, they figured there must be a new category that will put these symptoms together.  After careful review, they decided to put a Temper Dysregulation Disorder (TDD) in another category with specific criteria.  In the new DSM-V manual that will come out in 2013, they are hoping to formalize it as TDD.  The draft of DSM-V came out so it is under review and thus becoming a hot topic among psychiatrists and psychologists.
